Our tagline “A Clean Look at a Dirty Subject” is a tongue-in-cheek description of the content found on SexyNewz.com. But is it true? Is sex dirty?

Sex is the mechanism that humans use to procreate the species. Without sex, none of us would be here. Even the most fundamentally religious people recognize the need for sex and approve of it within the confines of a monogamous heterosexual marriage.

But when sex strays beyond those confines, the “dirty” label starts to creep into the conversation. Just as everyone has a different view of sexy, everyone has a different view of dirty sex. Toys, fantasies, crazy positions, multiple partners, homosexuality… we each “draw the line” at a different point on the sexual spectrum on what’s acceptable for us and others. And even that line can be fuzzy: I have no sexual interest in feet, but I certainly wouldn’t begrudge a foot fetishist of his/her pleasure.

My view is that sex between consenting adults is not dirty. What do you believe?
