It sounds more like a fantasy than a crime.
An 18-year-old Florida man, Olmer Morales, reported to the sheriff that a gang of women stopped and surrounded him as he was riding his bicycle to work. The women then forced Morales to hand over $100 before they fled the scene.
Morales described his assailants as five buxom women wearing overalls but no shirts or bras underneath. Police have no suspects, though Morales believes he has seen at least one of the women in the area before.
The real crime here may be the victim didn’t get the robbery on tape.
Vandalism and graffiti are the most common threats to the graves and memorials on World War I battlefields of northern France. Now officials are fighting a new threat: porn.
Exhibitionists are increasingly using the magnificent structures to film porn videos and photo sessions. In the latest incident, a French couple was given a four-month suspended prison sentence for making a porn video at the Vimy Ridge memorial near Arras. The judge found them guilty of exhibitionism and fined them £400 each.
The judge also ordered the couple to pay a symbolic one Euro in damages to Canada, which lost 60,000 men in World War I. Many of the Canadians perished in April 1917 in the Battle of Vimy Ridge, which this memorial honors. A half million tourists visit the memorial each year.
The couple stripped naked and had sex beside the soaring stone structure. Then of course they posted the video on their website and charged people to watch it.
Local police say similar incidents are a regular occurrence at other memorial and military graveyards. "It is a problem which appears to be getting worse - people appear to get a perverse pleasure out of this behavior," said a police spokesman in Arras.
